Couple dancing in a bright studio: laughing couple in black and white, another woman (Liza) waves in the background

Have you booked the location, catering, photographer and DJ? Then there's a whole world of services that are rarely on the planning list for weddings.

Some offers are for entertainment, others become personal gifts for guests or a special experience for the whole group.

Here are some of the more unusual wedding services.

Create your own wedding ice cream

What could be better than enjoying a really good ice cream with all your guests on a warm wedding day? It's even better if the flavor was created especially for your wedding.

Together with an ice cream manufacturer, you can develop your own flavor – perhaps with your favorite taste, an unusual combination, or a story that connects you. Your very own personalized wedding ice cream will then be served at the celebration.

This is for couples who want to treat their guests to something cool, delicious, and quite unique .

Dance instructors for weddings

A dance teacher can do far more than just make sure you don't trip over your own feet during your wedding dance.

You can have a custom choreography created for your dance and also book a dance workshop for your guests. Both can even be combined.

Imagine this: The wedding dance begins, and suddenly it's not just you on the dance floor. Your friends and family also know the choreography and gradually join in. Your wedding dance becomes the official opening of the dance floor.

And if the same song plays again later that night, society already knows what to do.

Such a workshop does not have to be a three-hour dance training session.

Depending on the concept, for example 20 to 45 minutes is sufficient to learn a small choreography or some simple steps.

Comedy waiters/waiters

A comedy waiter can even bring a smile to the face of the most introverted guest.

At first, everything seems like perfectly normal service. Then the supposed server suddenly becomes a bit too personal, asks strange questions, mixes things up, or starts with a completely unexpected act. The guests often don't even know who is actually performing the show.

The appeal lies precisely in this: the comedy isn't performed on some stage. It appears in the middle of the meal and becomes part of the normal wedding day.

Acrobatic show

Artistry is always good for that one moment when suddenly everyone stops talking and just watches.

Whether aerial acrobatics, partner acrobatics, juggling, balancing acts or artistic cycling: A good acrobatic show brings something to the wedding that you don't see every day.

Close-up magicians

When rings suddenly disappear and reappear amidst the guests, cards fly through the air and sparks fly, it doesn't take a big stage to completely disrupt the normal flow of a wedding for a moment.

Close-up magicians work directly among the guests, at tables or in small groups. This means that not the entire party experiences the same show – instead, each group gets its own special moments.

This works just as well for children as for adults and can be wonderfully integrated into receptions, breaks or the transition between program items.

Live paper cutting

Two people (Liza on the left) practice a dance step in a bright room; they pose with concentration, their arm movements synchronized.

A piece of paper, a pair of scissors, and an astonishingly calm handling of both.

Paper cutting is a traditional art form with a long history. Silhouettes and paper cutouts were already widespread in the Biedermeier period; the technique continues to be practiced as an independent art form to this day.

At a wedding, this becomes a small live experience: The guest sits as a model and can watch as his profile is created with just a few cuts of black paper.

The result is a beautiful, handcrafted keepsake – and at the same time a craft that is rarely experienced directly these days.

Live painting in black and white

Live painting is now a familiar concept to many couples. However , live painting in black and white is still a real rarity.

Individual black and white portraits of the guests are created during the wedding. The minimalist style appears modern, urban, and elegant, giving the drawings a unique character.

Those who love color can of course experience the same concept as colorful live painting : then the guest illustrations are created as colorful watercolors.
